ARE LAYERED VERTICALLY.

The dual tones of the Prairie rugs are layered vertically, lending an impressive depth to an already dense material. The particular dyeing process applied in this case sees their surface fibres rendered in white, while the pile beneath retains full colour. In the Prairie rugs the effect of light and dark produces an intensity as if the material were almost lit from within.
